Big Data, Small Area Symposium 14-15 November 2017

The MRC-PHE Centre for Environment and Health is pleased to host a two-day symposium in celebration of 30 years of the Small Area Health Statistics Unit. This international symposium (involving members of the NIHR HPRU in Health Impact of Environmental Hazards) will give an overview of the current developments, future prospects and scientific methods and techniques in using big data in small areas. It will take place at The Royal Geographical Society in South Kensington, London on the 14th and 15th of November 2017. Registration for the two-day symposium is £150, with a discounted rate of £75 for early career researchers and students. Abstract submission is currently open for both posters and early career researcher talks.
