HPRU in Health Impact of Environmental Hazards at 2018 New Scientist Live
24 October, 2018
Members of the HPRU in Health Impact of Environmental Hazards from PHE participated in the New Scientist Live 2018 event at the ExCel Centre, London, 20th – 23rd Sept, a science festival of 4 days of exciting talks, exhibitions and competitions.
PHE had a stand with interactive displays, posters and leaflets many of which highlighted our research in the HPRU in Health Impact of Environmental Hazards such as air pollution, nanoparticles, biomonitoring and radiation. The stand had a colourful backdrop which highlighted the continuum of the work across environmental health effects. Specific leaflets on the HPRU projects were available. Members from across the Unit were at the stand throughout the event, interacting with the public.
For New Scientist Live 2019 (October 10th-13th ) the HPRU in Health Impact of Environmental Hazards will have its own stand.
