Traffic-related Air Pollution, Noise and Infant Mortality in London
23 August, 2018
Dr Rachel B. Smith will be presenting a poster titled 'Traffic related Air Pollution, Noise and Infant Mortality in London' at the ISEE-ISES Joint Annual Meeting in Ottawa, Canada, 26th - 30th August 2018.
To our knowledge, this will be the first epidemiological study to investigate risk of infant mortality in relation to both road traffic air pollution and noise co-exposures. Ongoing and future analyses include:
i) Other exposure windows for air pollutants: birth to case death for postneonatal mortality; pregnancy/trimesters for neonatal mortality
ii)Cause-specific infant mortality
iii)Stratification by birth outcomes, e.g. low birth weight / preterm
