Theme 1: Introduction
Overall aim of this theme: To use epidemiological methods to show association between disease and exposure to environmental hazards. Work in this theme comprises epidemiology and surveillance and will be organised into the projects detailed below. These involve substantive exposures where there is uncertainty or lack of data on population impacts such as carbon monoxide and bioaerosols and development of methodology to facilitate epidemiological assessments relating to a range of possible environmental exposures.
